Food and Clothing Assistance

Rich Township has an increasingly growing need in the community for additional help providing food and clothing for the underserved in our community. Immanuel has been blessed with the ability to offer a
     Food Pantry and
     Clothing Closet

Both the pantry and the closet are open the first Saturday of each month from 9am-11am. The items we are collecting include:

Food Pantry:

Canned vegetables, canned fruits, beans, ravioli, chili, canned fish and meat, hearty soups, peanut butter and jelly, pancake mix and syrup, cereal, pasta and sauce, oatmeal/grits/cream of wheat, mashed potatoes, rice.

We are also looking for a refrigerator to be able to offer cold items. Please call the church if you would be interested in donating one.

The Closet:

Gently used clothing (especially infant and child sizes) and other miscellaneous items in good condition. Please wash all clothes before you donate. **Due to lack of storage...we are no longer accepting men's or women's clothing.

If you are able to donate any of these items, please drop them off at Immanuel.

Drop off location:

We are starting something new here at Immanuel. We are looking at worship in a whole new way! Any 5th Sunday of the month (beginning with June 30th, 2019)...we will be replacing our regular worship experience with a Serving Sunday.

What does this mean? Well...it means instead of sitting inside the church worshipping, we will be worshipping through service of others for the day. The day will begin with breakfast at 8am followed by a short devotion. After that...we pack up and head out to serve the community from 9-noon.

And don't fret! We have something for all abilities and ages...so bring the whole family. No project will go past noon.

Projects for June 30th:

Create a nursery for a family at their house

Complete a "Honey-do" list for another household

Create Thank-You bags for local emergency personnel.
